Why is it so important to spend a day fully focused on what's within you?
Let's find the answers. As you care about your mental health, it is very important to practice this - to take the day off internet and any social media.
If we are spending our time focusing on outer world (what is happening around us), we forgot to focus on our inner one. For example, what is meanwhile happening in our own heart.
In other words, if you are connected all the time with someone else, your inner bond with yourself will become weaker. You start to look for your answers outside, but all answers are WITHIN. In your heart, in your soul.
The paradox - we put our focus on outer world, trying to change it, forgetting that all changes start within. And it all leads us to even more fears and anxiety.
Also this unconsciously can happen if you spend most of your time being connected with others: you will start to compare your life to other people's life, compare yourself to others and your inner feeling can become very low.
As you already know, what you see in virtual reality not always show you "real picture” of someone. Everybody can create their own image, to create fake ones as well.
And it is do our free choice how we present ourselves to this world. But our responsibility - not to get in those trap when we start to compare ourselves to someone else. (Which takes away our confidence, self-belief, courage. And insecurity, doubts about ourselves come instead)
You are beautiful soul, very special, unique, there is nobody else like you in this world. Any comparisons can be made just within yourself. Where you were before, where you are now. To notice your own growth. For each of us his or her own path and life.
We can't find our answers in other people or in other people opinions.
We can learn from other people experience, but still we have to look within. To find answers what are important for us.
Take the day off. Look deeply in your heart. And ask to yourself.
“How am I treating myself? Am I kind and understanding to myself?”
“What is the direction for my life?"
"Am I going toward my dreams, or living someone’s else dream?”
Any other question, what feels to be worth to ask.
And allow your heart to speak. Listen carefully what it says.
Don't dissolve in outer world's rapidness. You have your inner one. Your peace, freedom and happiness starts within. You will never get it from outer world.
Take the day off. Spend it with yourself. Being fully present and honest with yourself. And listening to the words, your heart says to you.
Disconnect with the world for a while. Reconnect with your own heart again.
Take care of your mental health. And set your own path and pace for your life.
