I guess it could sound little weird for you. But the first step toward your dreams is: GRATITUDE.
When you appreciate what you already have and notice people, things surrounding you that you are grateful for – you come to the very special state – “state of gratitude”. That is also the synonym for “state of abundance”.

Why is it so important to live in state of gratitude?

When you experience gratefulness – those are powerful and most uplifting emotions for you and it shifts your perception immediately. Gratitude and love are the highest vibrations in which we can live.

If gratitude is living inside of your heart, there is no place for fear. It is impossible to experience fear and gratitude at the same time. Gratitude will become the leading emotion.
Where is appreciation, “lack of something” disappears. As you start to focus on what you HAVE, not on what you HAVEN’T.

As you already know - if you are living in mindset “lack of something”, it will be difficult to notice opportunities and possibilities around you.  It is like closed mindset. You will be focused on problems and obstacles. And it will not help you move toward to your dreams. In such a way you can get stuck, experience more and more struggling and other disempowering emotions and feelings.

Therefore gratitude is so important! It helps to shift your mindset from limiting to limitless. And as soon it happens – your heart’s eyes become widely open. You START to notice more and more positive events and gratefulness in your life. And this makes you more courageous and gives you strength to make decisions and take actions.

Let the feeling of gratitude flow in your heart and your soul. Let it be the first step toward in shifting your life, shifting your habits toward your dreams!

GRATITUDE.
About everything you already have. To help yourself to notice more and more things which you are grateful about in your life in this very moment.

And I encourage you to spend at least couple minutes per each day - experiencing gratitude.
Start with words "I am grateful for..." Make a list of things in written form you are grateful for in your life. And allow gratitude to flow in your heart. Gratitude is crucial to change your life. It is do first step toward your dreams.

KNoW your "Why"

 As we all know – often things in our lives are not going as planned in the very beginning. And it is easy to get distracted from what is important for you. You can lose your focus, your persistence, your motivation. And even your inspiration - when you start your own path toward your dreams.

Therefore it’s very important to know your deepest “why”. Why do you want to achieve what you are going to achieve? What is the main reason?

What is standing behind your wish, your dream? Which is your deepest motive?

Let’s start at the very beginning.

1. STEP
Take a white sheet and divide it vertically in two sections.
On the left side write down things that are not serving good in your life anymore and you want to stop or eliminate them. Activities, life situations, maybe even people who treat you really bad.
On the right side write down the things which you would like to achieve and experience in your life. Your dreams, your wishes, your desires.

2. STEP
Look at the left side. Reread those things. And stop doing them. Eliminate them from your life as soon as possible. Don’t spend your time, energy, efforts. Simply leave it to the past. It didn’t serve you good previously. It will not serve you good in the future! And you are the one who can change it. Just you. Nobody else can take this decision for you.

(You definitely know this truth already - by doing the same things again and again you will never experience the different results. The results will always also be the same.)

​3. STEP
And now - FOCUS ON THE RIGHT SIDE of your list. Read your list of your dreams, wishes and desires. Pick up the ONE – what is the most important desire (dream) for you at this moment.

Why is it important to choose just one? When you put all your attention and focus just on something one, you can find the answer and opportunities to achieve it much easier. As you don’t have to divide your attention on several different things. And switching between them always takes time. It will simplify the whole process. Pick up just one, the more important thing for you.

​4. STEP
And try to find your “why”. Why is it important for you to achieve it? What Is your deepest motive? What stands behind your dream and your wish.

Technique 1:
Find the silent place and let your answer flow from your heart and your soul. You can use meditation. Just ask yourself this question: "Why it is important for me?" And do let the answer come. All answers about anything is living inside of us. All what is necessary - just to be ready to hear them. 

Don’t try to get that answer from your mind. Don’t overthink. Let answer freely come. Try to be in relaxed state. Don’t make pressure on yourself. Let your feelings and emotions flow. In order for you to become aware of your deepest “why”

Technique 2: 
You can also use such method to find the deepest “why” for your desire, your dream

1. The question: Why it is important for me to do/ achieve/accomplish ….. /put your dream here/
1. The answer:…

2. The question: Why is it important for me to …. (take the previous answer and make it in question form)
2. The answer: ...

And so on. Each question always starts with the same phrase "Why is it important for me to ....."? 
Keep doing so until you get to the 7th question. Until you get to the 7th question and the 7th answer to it. It will be your deepest "why". Your deepest reason why it is so important to achieve that dream.

FOR EXAMPLE (technique 2)
For better preview and understanding, I will share some sample with you.
Let’s say your dream is to become the writer. 

1. question: Why is it so important for me to become a writer?
1. answer: Because I want inspire people worldwide to follow their dreams.
 
2. question: Why is it so important for me to inspire people worldwide to follow their dreams?
2. answer: Because I want to make this world the better place for everyone.

3.question: Why is it so important for me to make this world the better place for everyone?
3. answer: …

4.question: Why is it so important for me ...
4. answer:.. 

5.question: Why is it so important for me ...
5. answer:.. 

6.question: Why is it so important for me ...
6. answer:.. 

7.question: Why is it so important for me ...
7. ANSWER (your deepest "why"): ....

This 7th will be the answer from your heart and your soul. Your deepest “why”.

Knowing your deepest “why” will not allow you to give up when things will be going differently as you have planned!!! Put it in some visible place for you. Your deepest "why". Where you can see it all the time. Or you can set reminder in your phone. About your deepest "why".

All what you need, just to keep into your mind – your “why”. What is the reason for you doing this? What is the main reason (deepest) for you to implement your dream? Knowing your "why"  will help to overcome you any challenges you will experience during your dream implementation path no matter how big the challenges will be.

Simply KNOW YOUR "WHY". It is your anchor. Strong basement for your dream.

Don't postpone! Do it now!

"When I will have...., then I will do...."

"When I will have enough of time (money, etc.), then I will go on the trip /will start to implement my dream /will start running my own company… (etc.)”
"When my children will grow up, then I will turn on my dreams"
And so on..

All of us sometimes get stuck in those traps. "When I... , then I... "

Why it is so important not to postpone anything what is important to you?

At the first, we all have just this moment. The present. Nobody of us have time "later" actually. Sometimes we are used to think that we have. But the truth - we can live just in this very moment as it is do ours. When we start focusing on time "later", very often it means "never". My dad had a dream. Somewhen – when he will have enough money and time, he will travel to Norway. It is very close country to Latvia actually. Not SO far. He postponed his dream for years. And then… passed away. There is NO TIME later. Just this one. The present. The moment we are embracing NOW!

At the second, once you postpone something, you start seeing more and more obstacles of not doing that or this. Because you don't have something. And if you are focused on “lack of something” it creates more and more lack of the same (time/money etc.) in your life. Simply you start seeing more and more lack for everything.
 This mindset definitely doesn’t help you to move toward your dreams. Unconsciously you start embracing victim’s mindset. Starting to see yourself as helpless human being which have no opportunities to change his/her life. Those are lies! Please, stop telling yourself those lies.

All of us have freedom to choose whatever we want and go in the direction which leads us closer to our dreams, not far away from them. Just make the choice and this statement for yourself: “I am free. Nobody else can do it for me. I am the one who is responsible for my life and I will do anything to achieve my dreams!” It should help to awake the strongest part of you. To switch yourself from “victim’s” to “hero’s” mode. From helpless to powerful.

At the third, if you have postponed something for a long time, it’s quite possible that fears have acquired huge power above you. Not “lack of something” is the main reason for you not doing what’s important for you – BUT YOUR FEAR what if YOU COULD FAIL.

And then it is safer not to start at all. Because – if you fail, what the others will think of you? But the truth is: each failure leads you closer to your success!

And there is no matter what others think or don’t think about you. All of us have our own life and own path. The most important is what you think about yourself and how you see yourself. It’s not about others. It’s about what is your attitude to yourself. (Hopefully, encouraging, not judgmental. If not – change it. Change it immediately. You are YOUR FRIEND, not your ENEMY..)

Your power lives within you. In your thoughts about yourself. In your beliefs about yourself and your life. And nothing else matters.

Don’t postpone anything. Start where you are with what you have at this moment. Don’t overthink. Simply take the steps toward what is important to you. Take those tiny steps toward your dreams. And DO IT NOW!!!

I believe that you are as hungry as I am for that knowledge to bring your life ever so close to your desired dreams!

Small shifts in your daily life is all what you need if you want to experience different results in your life. And to become closer to yourself. To stop living by pretending someone else. In order to regain inner freedom, peace and joy!

Imagine if you're driving your car and turn the wheel just one inch? The direction would be totally different as if you had kept it straight. 

Small shifts do create absolutely different results. Just choose to take an action! Do differently as you would have been doing previously. And follow your heart and soul. You are born to be free. Choose to embrace freedom to be truly yourself!


Just remember  - each step forward is step FORWARD! No matter how small it is. If you take an action - it is step forward!!!

Small shifts create tremendous changes.
