Shift Your Habits
Make Instant Shift. Do Something Good.
Today I want to share with you one very, very effective method which is worth to be implemented in your daily habits. As it instantly can take you out of any sadness, depressed mood and self-pity.
As we all know - not all days will be shiny for us. It simply happens. And sometimes we can lose our hope, strength and even become desperate if something in our lives is not going as we expect it to be.
Humanly this first reaction often is like that: there is unconscious wish to step into this self-pity. And as more we stay there as more helplessness we feel.
Also very often happens so – when we already don’t feel good, we find something more to be worry about. And it also doesn’t help to feel better.
But we can make instant shift. In the most times it costs nothing for us. Completely nothing!
When you feel that you are falling in this self-pity state, thinking negative thoughts about you, your life, and losing your inner strength, try to do this:
Find someone whom you can help. It don’t have to be something really huge. Small kind gesture for someone. Kind and sincere words. Smile. For someone who doesn’t feel good. For someone who needs help. Who needs to hear that he/she is not alone. Who needs your hug.
Look around yourself. There is always someone who has much more difficulties in his/her life as we have. Make this day brighter for someone who has lost hope and faith. Make this day brighter for someone who is more desperate than you.
When we face with challenges in our lives, we sometimes forget that there is lot of people who are not so blessed as we are. And we forgot to be grateful for what we already have.
By doing this – giving helping hand to someone who needs it - inner awakening happens. All our vision becomes wider. Inner strength rejuvenates.
What you do to others, you do to yourself at the same time. By making brighter day for someone else you will color your day in more joyful colors also.
Try it. It do helps. Don’t stay too long in pessimistic mood. Experience all negative emotions you have (don't block anything) and then let those emotions go.
Do something good to someone else. It will help you to make this inner shift. To awake smile in your soul also. When we do good things to other people, it always creates joy in us. Because of love we share with others. And love creates miracles. Love gives us power to overcome any hardships we have. Because of love we become who we truly are. Because of love we regain our faith and trust. And because of love we gain superpower to heal other souls also. It is all about love.
