SHIFT your habits
Focus on opportunities, not obstacles!
Today let’s focus on shifting our mindset – from limiting to limitless. In other words, to shift ourselves from being focused on problem and replacing this with being focused on opportunities.
But before we start, take a sheet and write down the answer to this question – what is bothering me the most right now? What is the biggest challenge in my life right now?
And try to find 3 to 5 (if you can – even 8!) solutions for it.
(Small NOTE: if you see just 2 solutions for something - you are still limiting yourself. There are lot of opportunities. Not just 1 or 2. There is always more! For comparison - when you want to get to some destination - you can walk, you can drive by car, you can go by plane, you can go straightly, you can make rounds, you can crawl etc. )
So - again. Try to answer this question. "What is bothering me the most?" And listen and FEEL what first comes to your mind. That means – you shouldn't go to this rational state (limiting mind), but open your inner boundaries and try to be as creative as you can (creative mind - thinking outside of the box)!
And write down all these ideas what comes into your mind with no overthinking. Don't analyze. Simple write them down.
Once you have done it, reread them and choose the one which seems and feels the best for now. And take this action immediately. Make the first step toward this solution. Maybe it will not work out as you expected, but at least you will be in movement and not staying in stuck, struggling and focusing on the problem.
The main focus – switch your mindset from problem to solution. And take this first step.
We do often stay that we focus on problems. Telling ourselves words like this "That it is not working! Ehhh, it is impossible! There is no path out of it. It will always stay so.."
But when you consciously make this inner switch inside of your mind, and try to move forward taking at least one of the solutions what has came into your mind, you never know how fast you can get solution with this move.
It’s like trick to our brain - but it is definitely worth to try. Just believe that you will find and you can find solution for each your life event. It is never so that there is no solution for something. It always is!
But sometimes we - by focusing on problem - don’t allow ourselves to see them, to see the direction and the solution.
Try this technique. Shift yourself from problem state to solution mode. Try one step toward, take action and look how the things work. Don’t overthink. Just do it!
There is always possibilities and opportunities around us. Allow yourself to notice them. And shift your mindset to taking the action. Don’t sit feeling helpless aside. Move forward! No matter how small this step will be. It is anyway step forward!
And you never know where you can go with just one tiny step. What if one step is the last one which separates you from your dream? You will never know, unless you try. Take action. Now.
